MAISON IKKOKU - "HOUSE OF THE MOMENT" @ Kandahar Street,Singapore - JAN 2012

Happy Sunday again !!! ;-) Suddenly this cloudy morning,I had this craving for "Beef Rendang" @ SABAR MENANTI ( see Postings on this Blog !!! ;-) ) for a hearty Nasi Padang Breakfast !!! ;-) Of course I was happy driving to Beach Road ( where my old office was located @ The Plaza for many years ago ! And there were so many FAV EATS there !!! ;-) )

Since the weather is cool & comfortable,I decided to walk & explore a bit after my "huge breakfast eats" ( Probably too much Carbo loading !!! ;-) ) And I walked this 3 Storey - White Shophouse with a Interesting Japanese Name - MAISON IKKOKU - which means - House Of The Moment !!! ;-)

There was crew cleaning the glass door so she told me that it was opened ! Of course I was most interested to check it out because I luv the look of this Shophouse & usage of "recycled" Doors & Furniture in their DECOR -

Happy to know that I have another - "All Day Breakfast & Gourmet Coffee" Joint in the part of Singapore !!! ( Juz wonder which Eats started the Trend of this - All Day Breakfast Menu ? Jones The Grocer ? Wild Honey ? - see Postings in tis Blog ! ;-) ) And I also never expect that "So many Singaporeans love Coffee & there are so many Gourmet Coffee joints !!! ;-)

So instead of my other Fav Local Eats,I will definitely want to drive by and check our their HOUSE SPECIALTY,HOME MADE CAKES,SPECIALTY BREW BAR,ESPRESSO BAR ( From Brazilian & Ethiopian Coffee Beans ) Of course I must Taste both their Must Trys - MI PORK BUN - "Kong Bak Pau - Chinese Pork Belly Sandwich" & MI MuSubi - Japanese Short Grain Rice With Seasoning & SPAM Luncheon Meat !!! ;-)
