Recently when Botanic Gardens MRT Station opened,there were write ups in both The Sunday Times & TODAY about all the Yummy Eats nearby.Of course my FAV - PENANG KITCHEN was featured together with my other Favs Eats @ Adam Road Food Centre.Please don't laugh out loud because I was actually concerned because Foodies will soon rush there & the place will be packed ! And then soon i can't do quick order,eat & go !!! Anyway it didn't happen because you just need to pick the right timing to avoid the crowd !!! ;-)

I enjoy their House FAV very much because once you stir the red chilli paste into the rich prawn flavoured soup,you just can't stop eating,the taste is spicy and so delicious just liked my other "addiction" - their Penang Assam Laksa ! Besides your preferred Noodles,there are some peeled prawns and thinkly slices of pork and a small piece of egg ! ;-)

- "After eating,I really stinked from the Kitchen Cooking smell !" - Yes I agreed because once I am home,I need to change my tee because it still have all their cooking & food smell.Both Kitchen & Main Dining area in such a small shop.Even with high ceiling and opening the main door before opening and during the afternoon break have little effect !
- "Portions too Small ! Overpriced ! - Yes & No ! In case you can't decide on your Favs,then if you are very hungry,you can actually order both the Penang Laksa & Char Kway Teow and even enjoy a bowl of Pulot Hitam !!! ;-)
- "Made Reservation But Still Had To Wait !" - the Main Dining Area is actually quite small and sometimes if you are alone,you may need to share a table ! So if you enjoy Penang Eats,just study the Menu longer or their Boss can offer Save the Best for Last on the house !!! ;-)
