GARIBALDI Italian Restaurant & Bar - "1st TRUFFLE LUNCH With HIEN & KIE" - December 7 2011

It was a Good Idea to Re-Visit one of the more established ( in 2003 ) Italian Eats -  GARIBADLI - owned by CHEF ROBERTO GALETTI ! Many thanks to my good foodie friend KIE who suggested it ! Because it may be a better idea than Yum Cha since our good friend - HIEN who's back from Hong Kong for a quick visit ! And HIEN is now working & based there.He can enjoy the Best of the Best Yum Cha there !!! ;-)

In my recent holiday in Hong Kong,we enjoyed ( now it's now ! ) - 3 Star Michelin - OTTO e MEZZO which is opened by newly awarded by Miele Guide -Chef of the Chefs - Chef Bombana !!! ( Juz Google - Otto e Mezzo by ShareFavEatsAlways ) ;-)

GARIBALDI was a "good Reward" for my Busy Morning ! Liked my "journey" there ! Being reminded by both SMS and Follow Up by their Staff,I rushed over with my Fav MRT Ride from Orchard to City Hall and then walking past by all the Branded Shops @ Raffles Hotel then to the Old Shophouses @ PURVIS STREET to the upmarket Italian Eats - GARIBALDI !!! ;-)

Their DECOR looked Posh & Comfortable with a Bar at the main entrance, then "smallish" Cosy Main Dining Area which was already "packed" so probably explained why their Manager MICHELE needed to personally called & re-confirmed my Lunch Reservation ! ;-)

After my recent enjoyable Truffle Lunch @ OTTO ( Singapore ) I thought it may a good idea to experience the Truffle Season the GARIBALDI way ! So our good Manager MICHELE ZANELLA rolled out their Prized TRUFFLE for us to preview and made an introduction to their Truffle MENU !!! ;-)

Too bad that my good Foodie Friend KIE is not too keen on Truffle,so he ordered his Usual Fav Italian Eats !!! And both my good friend HIEN & myself was looking forward to check out & taste their Truffle Pasta !!! ;-)

Then after Enjoyable Starters, It was PASTA for MAINs !!! ;-)

After enjoying the above,a Good Meal need to be completed by Tasting their homemade DOLCE - Italian Sweets ( Prepared by Chef Tammy Mah ! ) together with a Glass of hot Caffe Latte !!! ;-)

( Rated Top 10 in Epicure June 2010 -So of course I need to taste their Classic Dolce ! )

Their SERVICE was Excellent & High Professional Standard ! And our Lunch was so Enjoyable that it was lasted from : 1230pm - 3pm with good lunch conversations with my good friends ! ;-)

And I look forward to check out & taste their Set Lunch Menu in future visits !!! And of course - Chef Galetti's Signature Dishes liked - Capon Chicken Tortellini and Wagyu Beef Tagliata !!! ;-)
