SPRING MOON" @ THE PENINSULA - KOWLOON, HONG KONG - "Finally Visited / Sunday Yum Cha" on Nov 6 2011

For Wine & Dine In HONG KONG - especially for a Foodie liked me - you always need to Pre-Plan Ahead so my good friend - HIEN actually first tried to arrange table for a Scenic Yum Cha @ TIN LUNG HEEN on 102/F @ The Ritz-Carlton.But the hotel reply was "we are sorry,it's fully booked till 2012 !!!" ( I was not disappointed at all because i was so happy with our good timing after our Delicious Japanese Dinner @ SUSHI HIRO,we decided to check out - OZONE on 118/F which was also @ The Ritz's - It's now my No.1 Fav CHILL OUT DRINKS in Hong Kong !!! See my Post on this happening place soon on my Blog !!! ;-)

Of course there another good option that i already had in mind & I immediately suggested the elegant & luxurious - SPRING MOON - it was introduced by another good Foodie friend - P Cheng a very long time ago ! I "feel very at home" because their DECOR is like a "traditional Shanghainese Mansion or Teahouse of the 1920s era with Dark Wooden Furniture and Ceiling Fans that will definitely create a memorable YUM with my Very Good Friends - JL and HIEN !!! ;-)



Besides the Restaurant,there is also a TEA BAR with 25 different teas available and you can consult their TEA MASTERS or TEA SOMMELIER on Tea Pairing with their Chef's Signature Fine Cantonese Cuisine !!! ;-)





You will enjoy their Chef's liking for the usage of High Quality Ingredients when you order even simple dishes and just take a look at their ( Must Taste ) Finely created Dim Sums & we enjoyed :


BAKED BBQ PORK PUFFS


HAR GAU - Steamed Shrimp Dumplings With Bamboo Shoots


DEEP FRIED TARO PUFFS WITH DICE ABALONE AND CHICKEN

BAKED BARBECUED PORK PUFFS

STEAMED SIEW MAI WITH ABALONE AND CRAB ROE


STEAMED GLUTINOUS RICE BALLS WITH AIR-DRIED MEAT

Of course any Enjoyable Yum Cha there must be their DAILY SOUP enjoy -




And here's one of the Signature Item ( Must Taste ) - ROASTED PIGEON With Osmanthus have just enough of a sweet glaze that bring out that special flavour that you will enjoy ( it's finger licking good !!! ;-) )


Since it was Shanghai HAIRY CRAB Season,their Manager recommended this :

I was really so glad and happy that everyone enjoyed the above Yum Cha @ SPRING MOON ! Highly recommended !!! Looking forward to more RE-VISITS in future Hong Kong trips !!! ;-)
